Northern Practice Locum Opportunities
If you are interested in working with First Nations people and providing a wide range of Family Practice services, you can enjoy a unique and rewarding experience in the Sioux Lookout coverage area. We are located in the most northern reaches of Ontario where we serve 25 isolated First Nation communities, mostly fly-in only.
To work with our practice, physicians require an Ontario licence, CCFP, ATLS, ACLS, NRP and/or NALS. We also recommend PALS, but this is not a requirement. We appoint a mentor from our physician group to help locum physicians gain a quicker comfort level with our work and our clients. However, all of our physicians and staff are supportive and eager to make your locum in the Sioux Lookout Zone an interesting and pleasant one.
We accept locums for varying lengths of time depending on our needs and your availability. Travel to and from Sioux Lookout is arranged and paid for through our office, we also provide accommodations within walking distance of the hospital with access to a shared vehicle.
